LMH Christen Jesus into Div 1
Preseason had taken its toll on LMH as they turned up with 10 players against recently relegated Jesus. The 10 held strong, though, for the first 30 minutes and their quality was such that they took the lead. Simon Lewis found the ball at his feet in the 6 yard box after a long free kick and managed to toe poke it past the keeper for the opening goal of the season.
A few minutes after the goal LMH were able to bring their 11th player on to sure up the midfield. Jesus put LMH under severe pressure with good passing football but the LMH defence, containing two freshers; Rex Worth and Billy... (more)
